Getting Design from Points A to Z
Let's Talk to Bob
Talking about yourself is one of the hardest things to do, but here goes...
I’ve had a career that’s taken me from collateral material production in the Gift & Stationery industry to Finance, Military Training and Simulation, and most recently into visual design for some of the leading software companies in the Security and Data Protection fields including the design of web-based applications.
Though my more recent work with the design, usability and customer experience of web-based interfaces has given me insight on making complex content relatable to user personas, I had many opportunities as well to handle collateral material creation and digital marketing efforts.
My workflow often involved stakeholders across many sites, requiring tight coordination with other members of a design team, engagement with product managers, engineers, and developers, as well as close adherence to branding directives and guidelines.
My first job opportunities out of college gave me early training in designing for print, including stints at a greeting card design studio and also a mortgage brokerage company that required marketing support and maintained a heavy trade show presence, so I am aware of the process and the attention to detail necessary at every level of production.
In creative endeavors, I was involved in numerous film and TV projects after graduating from the UCF Film School and continue to take a keen interest in hobbies such as screenwriting and game design.
I look forward to putting this diversity of experiences to work for you.
My resume and portfolio materials should give you some impression of my recent work. If you would like more information, don’t hesitate to drop me a line.
